Lake Sinissippi
is a 2,800 acre lake in the heart of southeastern Wisconsin in Dodge County. The lake is located just south of the City of Horicon, Wisconsin and just north of the Village of Hustisford, Wisconsin. The Lake Sinissippi Association, Inc. is an organization of homeowners, businesspeople, and concerned citizens who live around and near Lake Sinissippi and the Rock River.

Fire Dept Needs Rescue Boat

The Hustisford Fire Department is currently seeking
funds to complete the purchase of a Fire/Rescue Boat.
There are insufficient funds in the budget, and while the department has held fundraisers, it still needs more money to complete the purchase. Currently, if there is a fire or other incident on the lake, it may take up to 45 minutes for a boat to arrive. And this boat, is not a properly equipped to fight a fire.
  
     

The new boat will allow the Fire Dept to respond within 10-15 minutes to an incident on the lake. Because it will have a pumper, it will greatly assist in fire suppression on the lakefront and islands. In addition, it will be utilized for water rescue, EMS incidents on the islands, and search and rescue.
